How flavoured coffee is actually made

Flavoured coffee is not grown or roasted differently. Flavouring compounds, natural or artificial, are applied to the beans or the soluble after processing, which is why a hazelnut coffee has no hazelnut in it and why the aroma is far stronger than the taste.
