Cyber Monday Coffee Deals: Beans, Subscriptions, Pods and Gear
What to buy online on Cyber Monday: the coffee, subscriptions, pod machines and small gear we rate highest, what they usually cost, and which offers are worth waiting for.
Cyber Monday falls on 30 November 2026, three days after Black Friday. Where Black Friday is about the big machines, Cyber Monday is about buying online, which suits coffee better than most things: the best beans come from roasters' own web shops, subscriptions only exist online, and the small gear that makes the most difference to the cup is easy to ship. This page lists what we rate highest in those categories, what each normally costs, and how to judge an online offer. We will add the prices we check on the day as the week arrives. If you are buying an espresso or bean-to-cup machine, our Black Friday coffee deals page covers those in detail.
How to judge a Cyber Monday offer
Online offers come in three shapes, and they are not worth the same.
- A lower price. The simplest and the easiest to check: compare it with the usual price on our review page. If the reduction only beats a list price nobody pays, it is not a deal.
- Money off a first order or first box. Common for roasters and subscriptions. It is worth having only if you would buy again at the full price, because that is what you will pay afterwards.
- Free shipping or a free gift. On coffee this can be the biggest saving of the three, since shipping a single bag often costs several dollars. A free mug is worth what you would have paid for it, which is usually nothing.
Whatever the offer, buy coffee in the amount you will drink in a month or so. Beans are at their best for a few weeks after roasting, and a discounted bag that goes stale in the cupboard is not a saving.
Coffee beans from roasters' own shops
Cyber Monday is the day small roasters run their offers, because they sell online rather than through big retailers. Our highest-rated coffee is the Fresh Roasted Coffee Organic Honduran Marcala at 9.3, a washed single origin from the COMSA co-op at $14.99 for 12 oz, with the roaster's Tanzanian Peaberry close behind at 9.0. If you have never ordered from Fresh Roasted, our code COFFEEGURU takes 20% off a first order of coffee or tea all year. It is for new customers only and does not apply to subscriptions, so it is not a Cyber Monday price, but it is a real one.
Whoever you buy from, look for a printed roast date. It is the one fact on a bag that tells you how fresh the coffee is, and our list of coffee with roast dates covers the roasters who print one. The coffee bean reviews rank every bag we score.
Coffee subscriptions
A subscription offer is easy to take and easy to regret, so judge the plan before the discount. Our top-rated subscription is Misto at 8.8: it draws on sixty roasters, ships free on every plan from $20 a bag, and keeps every control in your own account. Stumptown's Coffee Club and the Volcanica Coffee Club both score 8.3; Stumptown ships a 12 oz bag for $20 with free shipping and lets you skip, pause or cancel without conditions.
The question to ask of any first-box discount is what the second box costs. Our guide to whether coffee subscriptions are worth it walks through the sums, and the list of coffee subscription gifts covers the plans that work as a present.
Gifts
Cyber Monday is the last big sale before the holiday shipping deadlines, which makes it a good day to buy coffee gifts. A gift set only makes sense if it beats buying the same bags on their own and arrives looking like a present. Our top-rated sets are from Cooper's Cask, led by the 48 oz Barrel Aged Box Set at 7.2 ($99.95); there are smaller sets in our list of coffee gift sets under $50. If you are not sure what someone drinks, our guide to buying coffee as a gift helps you choose.
Pod machines and capsules
Pod machines are discounted more often than almost any other coffee gear, so a Cyber Monday price has to beat the sale prices you see all year, not the list price. Our top pod machine is the Nespresso Lattissima One at 7.7, usually $129, with a built in frother for milk drinks. The Nespresso Gran Lattissima scores 7.1 at $479 if you want one-touch drinks for a household.
The machine is the cheap part. Over a few years you spend far more on capsules, so a modest saving on pods you buy every month can be worth more than a big one on the machine. Our best coffee pods list compares the brands, and our guide to pod cost per cup shows what each system really costs.
Kettles, scales and small gear
Small gear is where online shopping works best: it ships easily, it is a sensible gift, and a good kettle or scale changes the cup more than its price suggests. Our top gooseneck kettle is the Greater Goods GK0448 at 9.0, usually $79.99, and the KOIOS 0.8L scores 8.8 for about $45. Our top coffee scale is the ERAVSOW espresso scale at 9.1, which costs $19.99 at its usual price, so any reduction on it is a few dollars at most.
For brewing kit, the Bodum Pour Over scores 9.2 at $19.99 and the Mixpresso moka pot 9.3 at $17.99. At these prices the reduction matters less than buying the right one, so check the best kettles under $100 and the best coffee scales under $50 before the sales start.
What to skip
The loudest Cyber Monday coffee offers are often the worst value. Huge multi-packs of pre-ground coffee or pods look cheap per cup and go stale long before they are finished. Subscription offers that lock you into months of deliveries, or make cancelling hard, cost more than they save. Bundles padded with accessories you would never buy on their own are a way to sell you more. And a cheap espresso machine with a pressurised basket stays a cheap espresso machine at any price.
When to buy
Many online offers start on Black Friday and run until Monday night, and some roasters extend theirs through the week. If the coffee or gear you want reaches a price below its usual one at any point over the weekend, buying then is rarely a mistake, and small roasters' offers can end early when a coffee sells out. We will update this page with the prices we check during Cyber Monday week.
Common questions
When is Cyber Monday 2026?
Monday 30 November 2026, the Monday after Thanksgiving and three days after Black Friday (27 November). Many online shops run their offers from Black Friday through Monday night, and some extend them for the rest of the week.
Is Cyber Monday or Black Friday better for coffee?
For big machines the prices are usually much the same across the weekend, so buy when the model you want reaches a price below its usual one. Cyber Monday is the better day for things sold online by the people who make them: roasters' own web shops, subscriptions and small brands that do not sell through big retailers.
Do coffee subscriptions have Cyber Monday deals?
Some do, usually money off the first box or free shipping. Check what happens after the first delivery: a large discount on box one followed by full price is only a deal if you would have subscribed anyway. Subscriptions you can skip and cancel freely are the safest to take a discount on.
Are Nespresso machines cheaper on Cyber Monday?
Nespresso machines are discounted often through the year, so a Cyber Monday price is only good if it beats the usual sale prices, not the list price. Capsules cost more than the machine over a few years, so look at the cost per cup too.
Is there a Fresh Roasted Coffee discount code?
Yes. Our code COFFEEGURU takes 20% off a first order of coffee or tea at Fresh Roasted Coffee for new customers. It does not apply to subscriptions or to customers who have ordered before. It is a standing offer, not a Cyber Monday one.
