Flow rate at this price is the genuinely unusual part
It is the specification that normally separates a $20 scale from a $100 one.
Flow rate is grams per second arriving in the cup. On espresso it is how you tell a channelled shot from a good one while it is happening rather than after: a shot that gushes is running through a crack in the puck, and the number moves before the taste does.
The BOOKOO Themis Ultra at $99 and the Maestri House S3 are the scales this site has previously named for flow rate. Having it at $19.99 changes the shape of the category.
The caveat is that flow rate is only as good as the sensor's response time, and ERAVSOW publishes no response time in seconds. It credits a solid-liquid detection sensor and a microprocessor for the speed, which is a description rather than a figure. A slow scale showing a flow rate is showing you a lagging number.
Borosilicate glass, on a scale that costs less than a bag of coffee
The right material for the job, and almost nobody uses it at this price.
Most cheap scales are ABS plastic. Glass is stiffer, so the platform flexes less and loads the sensor more evenly; it does not hold static, so ground coffee does not cling to it; and it wipes clean rather than staining.
This site made the same argument for the IKAPE's aluminium body. Glass gets there by a different route and is the better surface of the two for cleaning.
Borosilicate specifically is the heat-resistant kind, which matters when a hot portafilter or a cup straight off a machine goes on top.
Four modes, counted honestly

Manual weighing, an automatic timer that starts on a weight change, an espresso mode and a flow rate mode. The seller advertises "3 brewing assist modes" and lists manual separately, which is why this site records four: it is counting the same way it counts the TIMEMORE Basic 3.0's three, which includes its regular weighing mode.
That gives ERAVSOW one genuinely distinct mode more than the TIMEMORE, at a third of the price.
